Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13)
If you’re not familar with the Mara Salvatrucha, you should be. I’ve been putting together some substantial research on the Salvadoran gang, which is infiltrating the US at an alarming rate. For those of us in border states, their ever-growing presence is really frightening. If you’re not aware of what’s happening on the Mexican-Arizona border, you need to know. A war is brewing.
Just google news MS-13 or Mara Salvatrucha and you’ll see several stories a day about their violent criminal activity and how it is ramping up.
These guys are bad news. Cracking down on illegal immigration is priority #1 in stopping these gangs. They specialize in human and drug trafficking.
I’ll keep you updated. But please follow the story and get involved in backing any measures that curb illegal immigration.

Holding on and Letting Go
When do you hold on? And when do you let go?
At various times in my life, I’ve been clinging to a hope and recieved differing forms of advice. For example, when I was a teenager I remember breaking up with a girl and then wanting to get back together with her. She wasn’t really responding.

Other friends said, you need to let go, get over her; don’t hold on, it’s time to move on.

Romney Candidacy Updates
Lots of updates.

Unlike those articles, it gives you a great feel into the personality and character of the man via several personal anecdotes. After summing up Romney’s qualifications, the author asks whether or not Romney is just the Republican flavor-of-the week, doomed to fade into obscurity after a time of hopeful promise.
The author’s conclusion:

H&R Block Restates Earnings After Accounting Errors
And these are the people who do our taxes for a living!
The whole sordid nonsense here.
H&R Block did my taxes twice when I lived in NY and was paying three state taxes (AZ, NJ and NY), New York City tax, and Federal Tax.
What I find incredibly comical is that their error was to overstate their earnings, which would’ve meant they paid a higher corporate tax! Nice tax work there from the tax experts.
Of course, I suspect they may have made the same “accounting errors” on my taxes because I distinctly remember paying out the nose.
